[Archive: 2025-07-18] Web Update: Placeholder Avatars and Registration Flow Improvements

A new release is live on web! It adds several quality-of-life improvements to the bracket page and registration flows.

What's new: 

  • Competitors with no set profile picture will now have a colorful placeholder with their tag's initials, for easy identifiability.
  • Bracket cards have been condensed to display significantly longer text before cutting off users' tags.
  • When opening the registration form for a tournament, any pending team invitations will immediately be displayed for all currently-unregistered events.

Bug Fixes: 

  • Team name input no longer holds the wrong name when setting a team name for multiple team events, or after un-registering and re-registering for a team event.

The mobile version of this release should be out shortly as well and, alongside these changes, will include some functional bugfixes and some UI upgrades which were already released on web. Stay tuned for that!
